Raise The Bar
when I read that the Shaffer crew was selling possession of Raise The Bar, i didn't waste any time getting him purchased. Having seen him at the open house and several pigs out of him he will help us make better Hampshires on the hill in Delavan IL. The most impressive feature of this boar other than his bone and foot size and spread over the top is how much incredible shape he has as a mature boar. a proven sire a winners with a unique pedigree is hard to find and we are glad to have secured it for our custoers

TRUST ME 37-9
We went to Belton again this year and again we found a really good boar. A littermate to the champion that found his way to Top Cut Genetics, this boar more suited our needs. We knew Egnell and Mcgrews where taking a joint venture Chester boar to Belton, we just didn't know he was this good, or that his mother was maybe the best Chester sow walking the earth currently. This guy is jacked up on his front end, long fronted, and just has a ton of shape and look. He does that while maintaining large feet, even toes, above average bone and clean joints. If you have some courser made, heavier middle Chester sows like most do, this guy could be your answer to inject elevation, length of front, and look, without sacrificing power.

Check The Boxes
This Trust Me 37-9 son has us super excited. He stacks foundational Chester White sows deeper in his pedigree on both sides as well as any in the breed! Seen here on 6 weeks of 4 pounds of sow feed his quality is unquestionable. He is elevated up front with extension, heavy structured, and up on his pasterns. Even more exciting is his ability to to this with exciting width and top shape. This is no sissy boar!

ALL MY X'S
We went to Belton and in our spare time kicked up almost every hamp boar as we had just recently lost Silencer. This is the one that we kept coming back too, and decided that he was the key to building an elite sow herd on the hill in Delavan, Illinois. He is up on his pasterns, fluid in his movement, clean in his joints with natural massive muscle. His depth of heart is tremendous while simultaneously being tall at the point of his shoulder and a long fronted hamp boar. We feel it takes one like this to make elite Hampshire show gilts, and his impact won't fully be felt until his daughters enter production.

Sleigh Bells
Bad name, really good boar. This 2014 WPX class winning sire has been a very pleasant addition to or herd. Most importantly his daughters have cycled, bred, and farrowed with ease. Secondly his sons went out into competition last summer and passed the test. He stamps his offspring with depth and spring of rib, lots of flat bone, and adequate shape over the loin and stifle. If you aren't having fun trying to raise belted hogs, give this guy a try.

The Big Fundamental
This home raised boar is special. Pictured in candid photos on gestation feed it became apparent that he was not Belton bound but destined for our herd sire pens. Traveling to the national events the past year the chester herd boars have largely been underwhelming, This guy is a changer. He has the bone, structure, mass and outline to take chester gilts back to the overall winner circle, yet the shape and attractiveness to make the point rackin barrows we all love to campaign. With that said, I feel his biggest contribution won't be felt until his daughters pass on his genetics to the future. All this and backed by a foundational quality mother. Simply put he is a breed changer and is priced to share with those that are dedicated to make better chester whites.

Silencer
We felt our sow Hampshire sow herd was in a position that we needed to make a splash with an additional herd sire, and when this guy became available we jumped at the chance, and his offspring have been tearin it up ever since. We expect this guy to open up the chest floor of our hogs, add top shape and tie it all up in an attractive package. He is the 2014 Indiana State Fair champion and backed by a breed leading sow in the Watson herd.
